Lookin' Spiffy

Greetings imaginary readers,

I know I haven't written anything in a while, and that really doesn't matter because no one reads this damned things anyways. But that's besides the point. I come to you tonight with a story that leads to a story. That story begins now..


So, for those of you who don't know, everytime I log on to Star Wars Galaxies, I do a routine "wishlist" check for some things that I've always wanted. Last night, I happen to come across a Sunrider's Destiny, a.k.a. the single most valuable item in all the known game. I understand that there was a mission at some point in the past that rewarded you with this lightsaber crystal, but since then the mission has been removed and now the only way to obtain one of these little guys is to be pretty much loaded with credits and find someone who's willing to sell theirs. I hear of guild mates receiving some from friends who've been playing awhile, but unfortunately for me, I always start a game alone, and sometimes end them alone. So for me, this was the single most greatest opportunity I had ever come across. Now to make a long story short, regardless of the money I managed to whip together, the crystal did not end up in my lightsaber, nor did it in anyone else's that night. Foolish me did not consider the possibility of someone using the vendor as a storage unit, which was indeed the case in this story. The fellow who owned it was going to give it to a guild mate, and so none of the other vultures who found about the thing got it, which makes me ten times more relieved. But now.. there's something you may or may not be asking yourselves.

"What about all that money you put together?"

Well I'm glad you asked.. instead of walking away with the most precious lightsaber crystal that's still in-game, I decided to use the money to get the second most greatest thing I think that's much more possible to come by than even the Lava Crystal, or it's ridiculously rare components. A full suit of robes and clothing that are designed to my choosing, and then given the best stats that money can buy. Now let me lay this out for you, regardless if you decide to post saying this isn't anything awesome, because you can go bite a wall for all I care, it cost me some pretty hefty dough, and the person who made it for me was being extremely generous, so if anything I saved a good amount on it. Bless her heart.

Regardless of how cheesy you think the naming is, it all goes together with my already constructed ORLS that I've had for some time now named "Hand of Zeal"


So now, for me, I feel I've attained one of the greater things a player in Star Wars Galaxies can achieve, not to mention I finally got my alternate character Vaurone Zeales to reach level 90, through the help of Celestrian Imperial Network, a fantastic and helpful guild based on Naboo on the Valcyn Server.


With that, I leave my friends, as it's raining, and it's literally the most relaxed I've ever felt, not to mention accomplished. Stay tuned for when I finally reach General in the Imperial Army and finally get the ever so excellent Windu's Guile lightsaber crystal. Sorry for no pictures posted by the way, just didn't feel like doing it this time around. You understand I'm sure.
